For Sarah, life was a series of battles, beginning with an abusive childhood that left invisible scars. A cascade of shock traumas throughout her teens and twenties, followed by a near-drowning incident in her thirties, deepened her disconnection from her body. Pain, discomfort, and illness became her norm. She lived for years with insomnia, anxiety, depression, headaches, digestive issues, hormonal imbalances, and more. Yet, she endured, never realizing just how much her body and mind were crying out for healing.
On the surface, Sarah had it all: a thriving wedding design business she built with her husband over 15 years. The joy she brought to others on their special days masked the toll of long hours, high stress, and the relentless demands of her work. Behind the façade of success and happiness, her body continued to break down.
In 2021, the cracks became impossible to ignore. Severe symptoms like hearing loss, blurred vision, paresthesia, panic attacks, migraines, chronic pain, and debilitating fatigue forced Sarah to confront the reality she had been avoiding. Desperate for answers, she turned to doctors, only to hear the disheartening refrain: “There’s nothing wrong with you.”
It was a turning point. Stripped of solutions, Sarah turned inward, finding solace in meditation, breathwork, and the quieter practices of yoga she had begun exploring years earlier. But when her body could no longer handle her beloved Vinyasa flows, she found herself on an unexpected path: the profound journey of self-healing.
Diving deeply into yoga, its sister science Ayurveda and psychology, Sarah uncovered the intricate ways trauma imprints itself on the body and mind. She enrolled herself in a 100hr Nervous System Rewire & Restorative Yoga Teacher Training at HELD - School of Embodied Self Integration in Ubud, Bali and discovered the transformative role of the nervous system in reconnecting with one’s inner self. With unwavering determination, Sarah applied this newfound wisdom to her own life, slowly unraveling the physical and emotional pain that had plagued her for decades.
Today, Sarah stands as a testament to the resilience of the human spirit. Having healed nearly all her symptoms, she has emerged with a renewed sense of purpose: to guide others on their own paths to healing. As a certified Restorative Yoga teacher specializing in nervous system health, she offers a compassionate and nurturing space for those seeking relief from their struggles.
Through her gentle guidance, Sarah invites others to reconnect with their bodies, reclaim their peace, and rediscover the strength within. Her story is a beacon of hope for anyone yearning to transform pain into purpose and create a life filled with balance, healing, and self-love.
